Conversation Notes:
2:05 - Fathers for the Fatherless 100 mile Bike Ride this Saturday, Aug 29, 2020
2:49 - Adam Weber’s recent book: Love Has a Name
3:10 - Normalizing conversational prayer: “One of the things I do, and it might be weird at first, it’s just been a part of our home. If I think a prayer in their presence, I say it. And so it might be the simplest thing, and a lot of times it’s just thankful stuff.”
4:51 - The story of adopting his son from Ethiopia
13:15 - “For me the number one way to see the richness of someone’s walk with Jesus is the fruits of the spirit, and for our kids the number one way they can see Jesus in us is the fruits of the spirit. More than what we say or even what we pray.”
14:55 - Why the book Love Has a Name applies to the dad life.
18:22 - Each day when I wake up I always pray, ‘God would you help me to see one person I could love today.’...And when I start my day like that, it turns into the raddest adventure.”
