  1. Mother's Day is 11 days away. Kids learn a lot from watching dad interact with mom. They're watching to see if our eyes shine when we look at mom. They're watching how we hug, kiss & touch mom. They're listening to our words & our tone when we're talking with mom. Let's lead well by sweetly pursuing mom.

  5. Proximity doesn't equal presence. This is tough for me & I’ve been guilty of missing this lately. Let’s airplane mode the phones & lock eyes with our precious kids.

  25. Think back to hearing your baby say daddy or dada the first time. Did it make you glow with joy? That's how your Heavenly Father feels about you. He enjoys you.
  26. It's FORT BUILDING day. Invite your kids into the creative imaginative fun of building a fort TOGETHER. Inside or outside. Out of wood, cardboard or bed sheets.

  29. Are you a thermostat or a thermometer? A thermometer dad reflects the temperature of the environment. It simply reacts to what’s happening around it. A thermostat dad regulates the environment. It sets the desired temperature of the room and actively works to maintain it within a given range.
